At The Framery we stretch canvas over a wood frame in the traditional way. This can be done with oil, acrylic, giclee or even photos printed on canvas.
Choose a thickness of stretcher wood and we can stretch it and hang it just on the stretcher, or we can also add a frame.
Please note that some art from Dominican Republic and Cuba cannot be stretched because of lower quality cotton or canvas. In those cases we mount the canvas to a solid acid-free substrate first and then frame the artwork.
